How to ensure reliable operation of thin-walled bearingsIn order to give full play to the role of thin-walled bearings and to maintain their proper performance over the long term, regular maintenance (periodic inspection) must be carried out. Through proper regular inspection, early detection of faults, prevention of problems before they occur, to improve productivity and economy is very important. The correct mounting of bearings affects accuracy, life and performance. Therefore, the design and assembly department should fully study the mounting of bearings. It is hoped that the mounting will be carried out in accordance with operating standards. How to ensure the reliable operation of bearings Generally speaking, from the point of view of use, the following points should be noted. 1. Bearing clearance should be appropriate, too large will cause shock; too small will cause poor lubrication and may burn tiles. 2. Should strictly ensure the surface quality and geometry of bearings and journals. 3. Improve the quality of lubrication, control the pressure, temperature and flow of oil, and strengthen the oil filtration. 4. Use qualified fuel and lubricating oil. In order to give full play to the role of bearings and maintain their proper performance for a long time, regular maintenance (regular inspection) must be done. Through proper regular inspection, early detection of faults, prevention is very important to improve productivity and economy. The correct mounting of bearings affects accuracy, life and performance. Therefore, the design and assembly department should fully study the mounting of bearings. It is expected that the mounting is carried out in accordance with operational standards. The standard items of the operation are usually as follows. (1) Clean the bearing and bearing related parts. (2) Check the dimensions and finish of the relevant parts. (3) Mounting (4) Inspection of the bearing after mounting. (5) Supply of lubricant Open the bearing package before mounting. General grease lubrication, no cleaning, direct filling of grease. Lubricants generally do not need to be cleaned. However, bearings used for instrumentation or high speeds should be cleaned with a clean oil to remove the rust inhibitor coating the bearing. Bearings with the rust inhibitor removed are prone to rusting and should not be left unattended. In addition, bearings sealed with grease should be used directly without cleaning. The method of mounting bearings varies according to the bearing structure, fit and conditions. Generally, due to the rotation of the shaft, the inner ring needs an interference fit. When mounted to the housing, there is usually a lot of clearance fit and interference in the outer ring. The fit is usually pressed in with a press, or there is also a cooled down and cold shrink fit. Dry ice is used as a coolant, and when mounting with cold shrinkage, moisture in the air condenses on the bearing surface. Therefore, appropriate anti-rust measures need to be taken. |
